Sale pricing (Compare-at)

Show price drops as sales, cap how many products are on sale and rotate promotions.

Sale pricing is off by default. Turn it on in Repricing Strategy → Reprice engine → Sale pricing and guardrails.

Settings

• Use Compare-at: When a price drops below the regular price, the regular price is shown as the struck-through Compare-at price
• Max products on sale: Caps how many products can be on sale at once
• Promo rotation days: Ends a sale automatically after N days
• Cool-down days: Waits N days before the same product can go on sale again

Each product can override these in My Catalog → product → Sale settings, or be marked Exclude from sales.

How it runs

A daily job (04:00 UTC) ends sales that have reached their rotation limit, clears Compare-at and starts the cool-down.

Limits

• Requires a known regular price (captured by store sync). Without one, Compare-at is skipped.
• Stock or unit limits aren't supported.
