Repricing
How Valyupeak decides a new price, the safety guardrails, and how prices reach your store.
Repricing turns competitor prices into new prices for your products and pushes them to Shopify or WooCommerce.
Rules
Each matched product can have a rule:
- Match price: set your price equal to the reference price.
- Beat by amount: undercut by a fixed amount.
- Beat by percentage: undercut by a percentage.
Reference price
Under Repricing Strategy → Reprice engine → Sale pricing and guardrails, choose what the rule reacts to:
- Matched competitor: The competitor whose price change triggered the run (default)
- Lowest: Lowest active competitor price
- Nth lowest: e.g. second-lowest, set with Rank
- Preferred competitor: One competitor you pick
If the reference can't be resolved (competitor disabled, out of stock, broken link), the fallback applies: use Lowest, use second-lowest, or skip.
Guardrails (in order)
- Min price and margin floor: the price never goes below either.
- Excluded products never drop below their regular price.
- Max auto-drop %: bigger drops become suggestions instead of auto-applying.
- Max products on sale and cool-down: see Sale pricing.
Suggestions and dry run
Suggested changes lists recommended moves from Competitor and Profitability signals. Use Apply / Apply all or Dismiss. The dry-run preview shows the effect before anything is pushed.
Scheduled repricing
Raise or lower prices by a percentage or amount on a weekly schedule or for a date range.
History
Every change is logged in Price History with the old price, new price and reason.
